Jilly's Man

Welcome to Jared the newest member of our family. If you haven't met him you'll easily recognize him as the hottest one in this picture.
I'm super stoked to have a brother-in-law that is as awesome as his wife.

Cancer Sucks

The last couple of weeks we have experienced the loss of two very special people.

Natalie Jolley

and

Doug Taylor

When it comes to things that are serious I have a really hard time putting my thoughts into words. I guess that all I can say right now about these two is that it has been my privilege to have had the honor to have known them.
I will be forever grateful for the millions of ways their lives have touched mine and the example that they and their families have set for me.

Outdoor Movie

The Coast is Clear, More or Less

It was another lovely, cloudy day on the Oregon Coast. It was a little chilly, a lot windy, and absolutely gorgeous.

Indee taught Rocky how to build a sandcastle while the boys tested out the water. It doesn't seem that impressive if you don't know of frigid the water in the Pacific Northwest can get.

Who's Watching Who?

We had some visitors from Utah and of course we had to hit the Portland Zoo. I don't know which was more interesting to watch, the animals or the kids.

Hayden, Indee and Gavin tested out the tractor seats.

Indee surrendered to the Lorikeets and made it out without getting pooped on. Gavin wasn't so lucky.

Just Hanging Out

I always said that my kids would never just be running around in their diapers. I thought it was distasteful until I saw how spectacularly cute my girls look sporting almost nothing at all.
Now I'm a big fan.

Daisy showing off her winking skills. She's pretty much a genius. There are a lot of adults who still can't wink like that.

We've had a ton of fun having Brandon around during the afternoons. He gets to hang out with all the moms at the park.

River Festival

People in Eugene really know how to party. At this little shin-dig we saw a Brazillian Drum Corp, the longest slip n' slide in Oregon, a bunch of hippies, a magician, and a three-year-old kid wearing a onesie.
All that and free hot dogs and snow cones. What more could you ask for?

Sneaking

It is hard not to feel a little bad when a toddler who is supposed to be asleep wakes up and finds her parents and little sister outside enjoying blue popsicles on a beautiful summer evening. I'm pretty sure that she will never go to bed again.
