Having a Blast with Becky

I don't know if many people are as lucky as I am when it comes to the sister-in-law department. Some of my very best friends are my sisters through marriage. We were lucky this weekend to have Becky fly out to Oregon and spend a couple of days. I was sad that Caleb couldn't come with her but it was nice because the two of us had some quality bonding time. It reminded me once again that the only drawback of living in Oregon is that I'm so far away from so many of the people that I love to see.

We spent a beautiful day enjoying the coast.

I didn't take very many pictures, but Becky's phone was busy. If it wasn't taking pictures or videos it was receiving texts and calls. She was in such good contact with everyone that I started to seriously consider abandoning my long held policy of neglecting my phone.

Becky's custom tour of Marci and Brandon's included a guided tour of downtown Eugene as well as the University of Oregon campus and a lunch at the best restaurant in town, El Pato Verde. We went to an awesome yoga class and spent a calm day exploring the coast making special stops at Yachats, the Devil's Churn and the Haceta Head Lighthouse. There was lots of good food and an evening spent with our two beautiful Indian friends, Hema and Anu who tutored us in Hindu wedding ceremonies. And, of course, Becky was given full access to Rocky which, I think, is probably the main reason that she wanted to come.
We loved having her here and hope that she will come back again soon.
Book your trip to visit the lovely Eugene today and I will start working on your custom tour ASAP.
